To have any of the pictures below as a wallpaper image on your desktop please follow the instructions below.
Choose which wallpaper you'd like and click on the thumbnail below.
(If you are unsure of your screen size details of how to check are given at the bottom of this page.)
When the full size wallpaper has fully downloaded right click on the image and select "Save Picture As".
Give your wallpaper a name you can remember and easily find later. Once saved you then need to go to the Control Panel, then click on Display.Computers will vary but you need to click on Desktop with XP. Then click on Browse and look for the file you've just saved.
Click Open and then Apply and it should now be your new Wallpaper!This is generally how most wallpapers are done and should be familiar to most of you.

To check your screen resolution size for wallpapers and backgrounds. Follow these instructions.Click on Control Panel, then Display, then Settings. Your screen resolution should be on this page.
The wallpapers on this page are suitable for either 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768.
You should choose an appropriate wallpaper size for your screen resolution.
